Gentle Yoga
Ideal for students preferring a less vigorous class and for those with health and/or injury issues. This Level 1 class specializes in using props to gently challenge the ability of students. Offers a slower paced class emphasizing stress reduction, breath and body awareness, strength, and flexibility.
Flow Yoga
A practice where postures are connected through conscientious breath awareness for a transformative and balancing effect. Builds internal heat, endurance, flexibility, strength, balance, and coordination. Creative sequencing is often built around sun salutations. Music played during class helps to inspire physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Yin Yoga
Provides the perfect balance to your active yoga practice and busy, stressful lives. Focuses on long-held (3-5 minutes) floor poses combined with breath work and meditation. Goes beneath the superficial tissues of the body – often in the hips, pelvis, and lower back. This practice is gentle yet intense, helping the student open their body and cultivate the ability to observe and stay with the sensation.
Hot Yoga
A flow class in a heated room that emphasizes integration of breath and movement. Warm temperature, combined with the yoga poses, brings on the sweat and sheds the calories. Enhances flexibility, strength, balance, purifies the body, and releases stress.
